Refund of Registration Fee

 

If after registration of document, it is noticed that excess Registration Fee has been paid, the authority to refund such excess fee vests with Inspector General of Registration as per Section 80 of Registration Act, 1908. However, it is necessary that the concerned party should submit application accordingly in the name of District Registrar to the concerned office of Sub Registrar, where the document has been registered.
